4 Days gorilla tracking & Lake bunyonyi

The 4 day gorilla trekking tour in Uganda leads you to Bwindi Impenetrable national park in South western Uganda. Bwindi impenetrable national park is one of those parks with a remarkable diversity, carpeting the margin of the Albertine rift valley for thousands of years. In the process it has accumulated a remarkable biodiversity, thanks also to an 1147m altitudinal range that accommodates habitats ranging from lowland forest at 1,160m to rare Afromontane vegetation above 2,600m. The park is part of Bwindi Impenetrable forest, a grandeur that act as home to the rare and endangered star of the impenetrable show: mountain gorillas. Later visit lake Bunyonyi for relaxation.

Depart Entebbe/ Kampala for your first day of the 3 Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour. The drive time from Entebbe/Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park located in Southwestern Uganda is between 8-9 hours. Although it may seem quite a long drive, it is worth it because you get to enjoy the countryside scenery with some of the most beautiful landscapes ranging from plantations, hills, all the way to the Virunga massive. Just keep your cameras near you and your driver will definitely stop if you need him to, so that you can capture that beautiful moment.

You will have an en-route stopover at the Equator crossing at Kayabwe for the photography and a simple experiment before you continue to Mbarara town for Lunch. After lunch, you will embark on your scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After your early morning breakfast, your guide will drive you to the Park Headquarters for briefing and joining others for briefing before heading into the forest for your gorilla trek. This trek can last for between 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the location of mountain gorilla family on that particular day. Once you find the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them while observing their behavior, taking photographs before you return to the Park Headquarters for your certificate that confirms that you have tracked gorillas in Uganda.

On this day we shall have a relaxed breakfast since we will not be having many activities on this day. After breakfast, check out and start our drive to Lake Bunyonyi which is about 2 and a half hours away due to the formation of the road. Later, we shall have to check in at our hotel and opt for a swim or boat trip around the lake. Relaxation and Overnight at the hotel.

After your breakfast, you will be driven back to Kampala or Entebbe for your post-tour accommodation or you may choose to fly out of Uganda on the last day of your tour. Since you will use the same route back, you will have another stop at the Equator crossing for photo moments, buying souvenirs or to just relax before continuing to Kampala/Entebbe.
